The development is the vision of Kevin Groman (Crown Canyon Capital) and is being built by BedBrock Developers, led by Rich Brock, who discovered the hidden parcel over a decade ago while driving through a mountain preserve area. The land, nearly 30 acres, had been purchased by a previous owner who intended to build a single estate but never did. Groman acquired the land, built the infrastructure, and partnered with BedBrock to create what is now the most exclusive gated community in Arizona.

The architectural team includes Drewett Works, Swaback Partners, and other nationally recognized firms. The Jade residence, designed by CP Drewett, earned a Platinum Award from the National Association of Home Builders Best in American Living Awards.
